Authentic Hog Roast Dining
Our signature dish is the hog roast, which as you can imagine is about a unique an approach to traditional roast dining as you can get. It takes a whole pig and roasts it for the better part of an afternoon on a traditional spit. On the spit, the pig turns over a fire pit allowing it to crisp up nice and gently throughout its cooking time. This leaves a really wonderful and natural charring texture across the whole pork skin, turning it lovely and golden bronze with plenty of crisp flavouring!
Because Porky Perfection are so attuned to creating more out of your event, we prefer to perform the hog roasting process fresh on site. That is how we deliver on the style, the spectacle and the flair, and the total novelty of the hog roast dining experience. With our aptitude for high quality pork’s in our hog roasting, we are able to apply the same expertise and skill with our BBQ. For example, we handmake our burgers and sausages from high quality local meats, and then fire up the grill and get to cooking right there in front of you at your event.
You can enjoy many high-quality versions of all of your favourite BBQ classics. Think homemade burgers, sausages, chicken skewers or even legs and drums. We have BBQ marinated pork ribs, kebabs, veg skewers, along with plenty of fresh accompaniments to bulk out your BBQ even more. Fries, roast potatoes, salads, slaws, mac and cheese, creamy mash – with Porky Perfection we can add as much as you need to create the BBQ that you want for your event. Top everything off with our own pulled pork made from our hog roast, and then get to slathering your roll or wrap in our selection of delicious spicy, zesty, smoky, and barbecue sauces!
Catered Dining For Every Occasion
Porky Perfection’s dining can work for any type of occasion. It may be for a formal affair with fine dining requirements, or equally our dining could serve up something simple and tasty for your more casual parties at home or in the garden.
When catering, we prefer to be able to cook outside which may be a consideration for events that take place in the summer at venues with wonderful outer areas. But, of course, as a flexible caterer we will still always endeavour to find the best way for our team to cook and serve even on the rainy days, or in lieu of a good outside are to set up.
We are happy to craft a dining selection that screams you and your event. If it is a buffet you want for your BBQ or a set menu for your hog roast experience, we will craft our menus and service that way. If it is another style, we’ll happily find a bespoke option for that, too!
